Your support makes all the difference.COMPETITION between breakfast television companies has again been occupying newspaper space, with the announcement of Greg Dyke's installment as chairman of GMTV. Dyke, who brought Roland Rat to TV-am, refused to rule out the possibilty of the rodent star's resurrection on GMTV, and this was food for tabloid headlines: 'Ailing breakfast TV station sends for RATMAN' (Daily Mirror), 'Roland Rat to the rescue of TV Fiona' (Today) and 'Roland set to boost rat-ings' (Sun). Meanwhile The Big Breakfast experienced turmoil of its own when Dannii Minogue, who is presenting in place of holidaying Gaby Roslin, arrived to demand a pre-show vegan breakfast instead of the traditional fry-up.
Elsewhere, Sarah Lancashire (Coronation Street's Raquel) was stranded at a petrol station after hoovering up her car keys with the garage's vacuum cleaner; it was revealed that Jason Riddington (Casualty's Doctor Rob Khalefa) is good at changing his new baby's nappies, and Jack Nicholson was spotted putting his hand on Amanda de Cadenet's knee.
